The Furniture Project Nottinghamshire operates a referral service for subsidised furniture and household items for individuals and families facing hardship covering Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City and some parts of Lincolnshire and Derbyshire. All items have been donated to us and are pre-loved.

Anyone facing distress / hardship in our area of benefit is eligible to have a referral put in on their behalf, you don’t necessarily need to be on benefits.
Criteria for referrals can include any of the following:
• Low income
• On benefits
• Sick or injured
• Homelessness
• Domestic violence
• Fire / flood victims
• Those returning into the community from hospital or prison
If you need to put in a referral to the project, please contact a local referral agency / organisation near you and complete our Referral Form. Examples include:
• District Council Offices / County Council Offices
• Community Housing Departments
• Citizen Advice Bureau
• N.A.C.R.O.
• Probation Services
• Job Centre
• Foodbank
